So how did you come up with the name KITANA?  Umm …(Laughs) I thought Kitana was a great match for me, for all you gamers Kitana was the princess warrior from Mortal Kombat. She has this strong and sexy demeanor about her.  Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing me would say that yes I am sexy but I don’t take no mess. So yes I will kick your ass if I have to! LOL

What motivated you to pursue modeling?

Modeling was never a life-long dream and I had no real intentions on pursuing it, until I thought of it more as a business plan. If I can make money and build a reputable name for myself to branch off and eventually create a tree then hell yeah count me in!

How far are you trying to get in the modeling industry?  I’m a HARD hitter baby so I plan on going as far as possible tastefully.

Is there any particular model in the industry you respect?  I respect Tyra Banks without a doubt. She is a true business woman. She took her STAR status from modeling and flipped it 3 different ways!  You go girl!

What part of your body would you say is you “STAR” player (LoL)?

LOL:) I would definitely have to go with my lips. Let’s just say they speak the Truth! (LICKING LIPS)

Are you on any particular diet to maintain your figure?

Absolutely Not! I love food too much. I will say I do work-out 3 times a week for 2hrs. I’m not a junk food fien so sugar and high calorie foods don’t usually make the cut when I’m hungry

I’m pretty sure you’re familiar with women doing “WHATEVER” it takes to get to the top.  Are there any boundaries to what you will or won’t do in this game? I never like to be limited. I take pride in myself and as long as the final product is 100% tasteful I’m all for it.

Okay, so of course the fellas want to know, what gives them the best chance to sweep you off your feet?

CONFIDENCE, CONFIDENCE, CONFIDENCE!!!  The kind that you can sense before he even opens his mouth. Confidence is usually the cover letter to a person with a great resume. He’s doing something in his life that he’s proud of, he’s established or well on his way. It’s so sexy to see a man holding his own.

LIGHT-SKINED VS. DARK-SKINED Men?

When I was in high school light-skin fellas was killin’em but I have developed this appreciation for the darker tone men. It’s just something about them that gives me the chills. LOL

If you had the choice would you rather a guy to be RICH and DUMB or SMART and BROKE? LoL

Honestly, I would choose smart and broke. This is why: A RICH and DUMB guy is gonna spend his money frivolously and eventually he’s going to be broke and dumb. Now a smart and broke guy will use his intelligence to turn that buck into millions and make it last a lifetime.

 You seem to have an exotic look to you with the colorful hair thing you got going, is that your trademark? Sorta how pinky the porn star hair is pink…

I’ve had this hair color since 15 and I guess it gives me this exotic edge but it’s no trademark. I love the color but don’t get it twisted I’m bad with any color like Lil KIM LOL

How do you prepare for a shoot?

I try not to eat much before a shoot and sleep is a must. I try to make sure I look as vibrant as possible.

Based off your amazing photos I see you like 4wheelers.  How did that concept come about?

The photographer I work with Ryan O. Nash came up with it. He’s truly amazing so when he approached me with the idea I jumped on it literally! haha

Now I know with beauty comes the beast.  Do you have a MEAN streak behind all that beauty? DON’T LIE!! LoL I Do. lol I’ll admit she usually come out when I sense disloyalty oh and of course in the bedroom BONG!

What is your long term goal?

My long-term goal is becoming an Accountant for the entertainment world. Getting experience from a major firm and then branching off in marketing my own Accounting business. I’m a math geek and when you add a dollar sign in front of numbers you have my undivided attention lol but seriously, coming up with strategic plans to increase cash flow is what I could really see myself doing for a lifetime.

VMA's Promo WestSide Nightmare?

I want to apologize for my post before I post it.  You ever have those moments when you look at something for a while glaring hoping to get or see the hidden image that everyone else can see , apparently that was my experience with this commercial. West Side Story is my favorite musical/movie it’s a sheer classic.The thing with classics are they are classics for a reason, they are untouchable and can only be duplicated with the correct elements. How do I start, Well first can someone tell me what is the correlation  between the VMA’s and West Side Story? I guess tonight.. tonight.. okay that one is passable. Secondly I say this with the upmost respect MTV didn’t pick any big nominees, No Beyonce,Gaga,Britney,Rihanna,Jo bros,. While they had some interesting choices ,Taylor Swift had the shining moment.I have much respect for Ne-Yo so I choose not to comment ,his part was cool but most of the commercial was a bit creepy.

DJ AM found dead in NYC apartment

Only days after Ryan Jenkins, reality TV star on VH1, was found dead after being a suspect in the murder of his wife, DJ AM was found dead in his NYC apartment Friday morning.

Police said that drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. The popular musician struggled with drug addiction for many years. Ironically, he survived a plane crash last year.

“There’s no reason why I should have lived or why I lived and they didn’t. But I am alive and I’m here and I have to do something better with my life now… I struggled for years as a drug addict and was fortunate to get help when I asked for it. I have managed to live a clean and sober life, something that takes work and something that I pride myself on. ‘Gone Too Far’ is my platform to help people, like I was helped – by giving back in a way”, DJ AM said during the press tour.

Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein, 36, had an upcoming reality show on MTV similar to A&E’s ‘Intervention’ called ‘Gone Too Far’ that showed young adults struggling with substance abuse. The show is currently set to premiere Monday, October 5th. MTV has eight episodes in the can, but it is unclear whether or not the series will air.

MTV issued a statement regarding Goldstein’s death:

Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein’s death is an incredible loss to the music community, his friends, family and his fans, and those of us who had the privilege of working with him. MTV was honored to support him as he helped young people battle their own addictions. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to his family.

Programa da MTV mostra esportes radicais

O programa Cliptomaniacs, que será exibido neste sábado (29), vai mostrar o percurso do Red Bull Hare Scramble. A atração da MTV tem acesso aos arquivos de esportes radicais da Red Bull.

Na disputa que será exibida, 500 pilotos de motos tentam atravessar um percurso com pedras e florestas. O programa ainda mostra o Red Bull Night Bike na Itália.

O Cliptomaniacs ainda conta com uma Supercâmera para mostrar as manobras em câmera lenta.

House of Jazmin at LIVE! On Sunset

Jazmin Whitley celebrated the premiere of her new MTV show House of Jazmin last week at LIVE! On Sunset. The new MTV series focuses on Whitley and her hectic life as a fashion designer, co-starring her best friend Morgan, mother Susan and little brother Joey.

The new show is already receiving plenty of support as shown by the great rating it recently received in newest issue of US Weekly and a full house of fans that came to the fantastic premiere event.  Attendees included Miss California Tami Farrell and Diddy’s StarMaker cast Marisha Shipp and Monet Monico, as well as old school 90210 cast member Ian Ziering , Chudney Ross, and Prodigal Sunn.

VMA West Side Story Promo

MTV is promoting their upcoming 2009 Video Music Awards (Sept. 13, 8:00pm central) with a star studded spin on the musical West Side Story. The video features Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Russell Brand, Cobra Starship, and Leighton Meister as millenial versions of the characters from the Sondheim classic. Despite the fact that no one featured in the clip (with the exception of maybe Ne-Yo) can actually sing, auto-tune manages to help enough to make the clip thoroughly entertaining. I hope the actual VMA’s can follow suit because I have been disappointed in the show for the past few years. Hopefully this promo is a sign of good things to come!

VH1 needs some Flavor

When VH1 was nothing more than an adult version of MTV, they picked up former WB series, “The Surreal Life.” In 2004, they recruited Flavor Flav to join the series. He ended up having a relationship with Bridgette Neilsen.

Due to the popular romance between Flav and Neilsen, the network granted them their own show, “Strange Love.” The show was a ratings-grabber and set records for VH1. After the first season, Neilsen left Flavor Flav for her fiance.

The network used the heart-broken Flav to their advantage, giving him three seasons of “Flavor of Love.” His series sparked a revolution at the network that has made it a constant ratings-grabber. Now, VH1 has lost two popular shows with “Megan Wants a Millionaire” and “I Love Money 3.”

Right now, the chips are down for VH1, so they need to give Flavor Flav another reality show. This time about life with his wife and infant son. He is still an entertaining personality. Can Flavor Flav save VH1?
