Whitney Port’s line Whitney Eve, features this adorable elastic waist tee dress, which got me thinking about another universally flattering frock. I posted recently about the wrap dress, and how it flatters virtually every body type, and another equally flattering style is the one shown here.
Rather than getting into details telling you why this dress is so flattering, I thought I’d just show you some of my favorite examples and let you see for yourself! Below are some affordable and fashionable elastic waist tee dresses from Lulu’s.

As you can see, these dresses are flattering purely because they aren’t clingy. Therefore, women with large or small breasts can wear this style, as well as women with large or petite hips. The key is the elastic waist, because it makes your smallest part look like your waist, and therefore gives you the hour glass figure we all desire. If you’re really curvy, it will show that off, and if you have no curves at all, it will help to make it look like you do!
The other thing that is great about this style is that its absolutely affordable and you can find really unique designs that fall under this simple style. Additionally, this style transitions easily from day to night. Just look at the examples above, you could easily wear one of these dresses out for lunch and then out for night on the town as well!
