Every time I feel I can never be surprised by an Albany politician, that it can get no worse, Times Union’s Local Politics blog reminds me how naive, how idealistic I truly am.
It appears Councilman James Sano, 9th Ward, has a serious issue with MTV’s “Jersey Shore” enough to propose a Councl condemnation of the show and demanding MTV cancel it. Yes, Jersey Shore, a show about individuals like these individuals. Does he perhaps have a point? Yes, but I still feel, in Albany would be better served having its Common Council handle issues of serious concern.
You know, issues you can’t just change the channel on.
